Best of 2020
2020 was of course the year the coronavirus pandemic took hold and suddenly the normal way of life was cancelled with lockdowns and tragic news stories taking centre stage.
I had actually made one event just before the first UK lockdown kicked in which was the Gatwick Aviation Museum Nightshoot on March 7. The only other aviation related outing was in August when restrictions eased for a time and we visited the Battle of Britain Memorial at Capel le Ferne where there is now a dramatic stainless steel replica of a crashed Junkers Ju87 Stuka dive bomber.
