Review - Peter Teichmann's Hangar 11 Collection opened its doors on Saturday November 25 for it's inaugural Supporters Club Members Day.   Visitors could view progress on the almost finished Supermarine Spitfire PRXI PL965 G-MKXI which had flown twice the previous day after an eighteen month rebuild.  The aircraft is still in its bare metal and likely at the paint shop as these words are read.  With fog and low cloud dispersing around 1pm Peter took P-51D Mustang Jumpin Jacques aloft for some fly-bys treating the crowd to a sight not often seen in the winter months other than around North Weald, namely a historic warbird in the air.  The sound of the Merlin engine cutting across the chilled air whetted the anticipation for next year's display season!
